On Easter morning, the young people wear the traditional costumes and parade while carrying their Pasquali.

The Pasquali, a tradition unique of its kind

The Pasquali are floats, prepared during the winter by the young people of Bormio, wherein the religious and handcrafted elements are combined in order to create a real artworks.

On Easter Sunday, the Pasquali are carried on the shoulders by the craftsmen in the parade along the streets of Bormio accompanied by the women, the elderly people and the children, all dressed with the typical costume.

Program

until 9.00 a.m. – meeting of the participants at piazza V Alpini
10.00 a.m. – parade through the historic centre of Bormio – via Al Forte, via San Vitale, via Roma, piazza Cavour/Kuerc (the “Pasquali” will remain exhibited there until 7.00 p.m. on Easter Monday)
11.30 a.m. – blessing of the Easter lambs and of the “Pasquali” in Piazza Cavour/Kuerc
5.00 p.m. – prize giving ceremony in Piazza Cavour/Kuerc
9.00 p.m. – dance night with DJ set c/o Pentagono
